What is an Onsite Sewer System?
Required Design Information
Thanks for choosing River Logic to provide you with a septic system design. If you have spoken with us over the phone, we most likely have given you our standard rate for the design of your septic system. In order to keep to this rate, please submit as much of the following information as possible.
ü Any previous correspondence with your health department including: site and soil evaluation with soils classifications and depths, location of ground water, required perc test depths, tested perc hole location and rates, location of ground water or impermeable layer, or any other specific requirements.
ü Lot size and dimensions. Please submit plat map with legal description if possible.
ü Location of soil exploration pits(s) and perc test holes.
ü Ground surface contours if possible.
ü Location of any paved and unpaved driveways.
ü Location, approximate dimensions, and explanation of the dwelling to be served by an onsite sewer system.
ü Maximum number of bedrooms. Please include any room or loft that could potentially be used for a bedroom.
ü Location, type, and depth of existing and proposed nonpublic water supply sources within 200’ of system, and all public water supply sources within 1500’.
ü Location of easements or drainage right of ways. Location of all waterways within 100’.
The above information is required by the state of Utah. We charge an additional $60 per hour to obtain any of the above information if not provided and if required by your health department. We will let you know before any work is done that will require an additional charge to the standard rate quoted.
